What do propane tanks sound like as loudspeakers? Come find out!

I’m performing in New Music Edmonton’s Now Hear This! festival on Saturday, March 24th at 9:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

Come to the 7:30 p.m. concert with Dave Burrell (piano), Steve Swell (trombone), and Mark Segger (drums and percussion) and stay to hear me and blablaTrains finish off the night.

The Fall, East Van Opera

I’m travelling to Victoria, BC later this month for the premiere of my latest work The Colour of Idols: Blue for two voices in East Van Opera’s concert “The Fall.” I’m excited to have my work performed for the first time by Anna Shill, whom I’ve worked with briefly on other projects. Composer Justin Boechler (listen to his last piece with Anna, 6 Songs) has also written a new piece for Anna in this concert. Nathan McDonald will be singing the second voice, a spectacular Baritone who I am looking forward to getting to know.

East Van Opera held a poetry competition for this project, and I had the pleasure of setting Tim Lowan’s poem “Blue” to music.

Prior Art

Concert on Wednesday July 27th, 2016 @ 8pm. Wood Recital Hall (Victoria Conservatory of Music).

My new piece for bluegrass ensemble is being premiered at Prior Art, as well as several pieces by composers on Vancouver Island. Presented by the Victoria Composers Collective, should be a great show! excerpt_throughBlueGlass.PNG
